Watch the races from the lawn!
You'll be impressed by the unique atmosphere.
At Boat Race Fukuoka, one of the best places to watch the races is from the lawn area. It's an up-close experience of the racers battling for position as they expertly navigate the turns—one of the highlights of Boat Race!
When the weather is nice, you can spread out a picnic blanket and relax in style, making it one of the most pleasant places to watch the races, too. On some weekends, there are food trucks serving dishes like stir-fried noodles and curry. Visit with your family or friends, and it will feel like you’re at a festival!

Cuisine
Satisfy your hunger with the carefully curated lineup of concession stands!
Feeling peckish after all the excitement of the races and events? Then head to one of the concession stands located on each floor.
This is where you'll find dishes like stir-fried noodles and oden, as well as a variety of snacks. The donuts filled with sweet bean paste give your brain the nourishment it needs to predict the outcome of the next race (maybe…).
Check out the extensive selection of local eats at the restaurants and food court!
This restaurant on the second floor of the central stand is popular for its extensive menu.
One of the top recommendations is the pork and vegetable miso soup set meal, which consists of pork and vegetable miso soup, rice topped with raw egg, and some side dishes. The sweet dashi stock adds depth to the flavor of the soup, making it a hit with regular visitors.
The “Perabo” udon noodles, available at the food court on the second floor of the east stand, are also something you can't miss! This local specialty features deep-fried fish cake, burdock tempura, and meat.
